Attendance up 20 per cent at Bike Motion Benelux

Bike Motion Benelux saw its biggest attendance yet, up 20 per cent on last year’s show, according to Bike Europe.

Attracting 29,942 attendees (Eurobike saw 39,152 trade visitors in September) Bike Motion Benelux visitors were predominantly visited by road and MTB cyclists, with a trade-only day on November 2nd.

In the build up to the show an extra exhibition hall was added to contend with exhibitor demand, increasing space by 6,000 sq meters to 32,500 sq meters. This year the number of exhibitors rose to just under 200, with brands numbering from 400 to 600. Growing numbers of dealers, manufacturers and importers from Belgium, France, Germany and Italy attended the show.

According to the organisers, 82 per cent of visitors owned racing bikes, 62 per cent had MTBs and 26 per cent owned touring bikes.

Bike Motion Benelux was held in Utrecht from October 30th to November 2nd.
