Known for tech cycling apparel with innovative fabrics, Hind – like Pearl Izumi – also produces running kit, although the ATB Sales deal is for cycle clobber only.
Hind was started in 1974 as a swimwear brand but later diversified into cycling and running. The company is now owned by running shoe maker Saucony Inc.
Hind has a comprehensive line-up of men’s and women’s cycle garments that provide "performance, comfort and style to a technically demanding customer," said ATB Sale’s Ross Patterons.
New for Spring 2002 is ‘Pavement Optional’, said to be a "street smart, go anywhere line of clothing, pioneered to provide on trail performance with aggressive good looks."
Distribution will be via IBDs only.
