Distributor chooses to end relationship with folding bike and accessories brands

Zyro drops Dahon and Biologic lines

Zyro has decided that it will no longer distribute the Dahon and Biologic brands, following the current 2011 model year.

Developments are underway to appoint a new Dahon distributor and Dahon will announce its plans within the next few weeks. Zyro says that it will, of course, work hard to ensure a smooth transition to the new distributor.

"We have taken this decision due to poor availability of product, in particular, spare parts, which are vital in providing the high levels of customer service that Zyro has built its reputation on," said the firm in a statement today.

Zyro will continue to honour warranty claims for products it sold for Dahon 2010 and 2011 models of folding bikes. Zyro’s agreement with Dahon to warrant bikes and product not sold by Zyro has ended and Dahon has not committed to offer further support for these.
