Zyro Cycle Vision: product previews

Zyro’s Cycle Vision event is one of the first on the calendar on return from the Christmas break and the distributor has today outlined a number of product highlights and first looks available to retailers making the journey.

Abus will be previewing their brand new In-Vizz helmet, complete with its integrated lens system that completely hides in the helmet frame. Available in some eye-catching colours this helmet looks set to be a key product for 2014. They also launch their new top of the range Granit X-Plus 540 D Lock, with Sold Secure Gold rating and featuring Abus’ Power Cell technology and X-Plus cylinder, this is the perfect lock for high theft risk areas and high value bicycles.

Magura launch their TS8 eLect suspension forks, featuring electronically controlled lockout. The forks automatically lock the fork depending on the riding situation, with a manual mode also available using a wireless remote. The entire system is 15g lighter than the mechanical DL02. Their HS33R hydraulic rim brakes will also be on show, with less weight (-15g) and higher braking power (+5%) this will be a retail and rider favourite thanks to being near maintenance free.

New brand to Zyro, SKS, will have its full range on show. This will include the Airmenius track pump Eurobike award winner in 2013) which combines high-quality materials in a professional floor pump. With a 100mm pressure gauge and 735mm long aluminium trapezoidal barrel this is a solid pump capable of reaching high pressures. Their Bluemels Reflective mudguards are a new version of their classic Bluemels guard, featuring 3M reflective material, a rear reflector and an extended mud flap – ensuring better visibility in the dark and more safety on the road.

Torq has yet another exciting new gel flavour to launch at the show. There is also a new Recovery Drink flavour and three new POS stands to view. The new POS means that shops of all sizes can chose the right option for them and has been implemented following feedback at last year’s Open House show.

Fenwick’s will be demonstrating their new Fast Blast Degreaser, a powerful solvent-based degreaser designed to instantly clean the dirtiest of drivetrains. They will also have their Stealth Lubes on show in new 250ml size.

Genuine Innovations have had an image overhaul and will be showcasing their brand new look for the whole range. In addition they will have the long awaited Hammerhead Inflator – small, lightweight and their most intuitive compact CO2 inflator yet!
