Zipp to spend $12.4 million on new manufacturing facility

High-end race manufacturer Zipp Speed Weaponry has confirmed that it is to invest $12.4 million in a new manufacturing and customer services facility.

The Indianapolis-based build is anticipated to bring a further 105 roles to the company by 2013, according to BikeRumor.com.

Having been purchased by Sram in 2007, the investment has also drawn funding from the Indiana Economic Development Corp, which has offered $690,000 in performance-based tax credits, as well as up to $110,000 in training grants to assists the company’s job-creation plans.
