As well as offering the products via mail order and Super Cycle’s e-tail website, the Nottingham shop-cum-wholesaler is seeking a select band of IBD stockists.
“Each dealer will have an exclusive territory andwill be given training to assist the customer in selecting the correct unit for their requirement. A customising and servicing centre will be set up at Nottingham and dealer orders will be turned around in 24hours,” said Super Cycle’s Mike Poyzer.
“The shocks are firmly inthe Fox/Stratos/RockShox area of design and technical input, having been developed in conjunction with Stratos in the States,” said Poyzer.
SuperCycles has an 18 month promotional plan for the brand, including soliciting consumer magazine reviews and taking consumer magazine advertising
“IBDs are recommended to apply early as dealerships are limited and demand is already present,” said Poyzer.
“Later advertisements will feature dealer listings andpotential customers will be pointed to their nearest dealer. The range coversair shocks, some with lockout, coil over shocks and a range of budget replacement shocks under the ‘Tough Shock’ brand . The latter will notbe imported initially but is an area where [we] see future potential business,given the number of economy suspension cycles now being sold.”
