World Champ picks up his bike by chopper

Piloting his own helicopter, McRae flew from his Lanark home to spend the afternoon with Ian Hughes (friend, drinking partner and General Manager of Scott UK).

Scott suppliew McRae with mountain bikes and accessories which he uses in his fitness regime.

Scott is also the official supplier of footware and eyeware and clothing to Ford M-Sport who build and prepare McRae’s Ford Focus World Rally Cars from their Cumbrian base.

McRae is currently second overall in this year’s World Rally Championship, behind Tommi Makinen (Mitsubishi).
