Online bike retailer Wiggle has recorded its 100,000th customer generated review this month.
The milestone was reached a little over a year after the site launched the user review feature. Over 90 per cent of the reviews have been rated four or above.
"Our customer review system was popular from day one so it’s no surprise to see us reach this benchmark so quickly," enthused Wiggle director of marketing Martin Talbot: "We’re delighted our shoppers enjoy leaving their own feedback; it makes our site far more interactive and the reviews are a worthy source of product information for customers when browsing."
The Cateye Strada Wireless Cycle Computer, the Orca S2 triathlon wetsuit and Continental’s Ultra Gator Duraskin road tyre are currently the most reviewed products on the site.
"Our shoppers find that having access to so many different product reviews written by people who have bought and used the item gives them far greater knowledge and confidence than a typical product description," he added.
