Yorkshire cross-country event has a variety of jobs available

Volunteers wanted for Dalby World Cup 2011

British Cycling is looking for enthusiastic volunteers for the forthcoming 2011 UCI Mountain Bike Cross-Country World Cup in Dalby Forest between May 20 and 22.

There are a number of roles, including anti-doping chaperones, accreditation officers, event management support and course assistants.

Volunteers will receive free camping accommodation, official World Cup Crew clothing, meals and a contribution towards travel expenses as well as other exclusive benefits.

Here’s a breakdown of the weekend:

Friday

The town of Pickering plays host to the opening night of the world cup weekend with the Pro Sprint Eliminator, urban cross country racing in a 4X format.

Saturday

Junior World Cup Racing followed by the Dalby Dare where the public get their chance to ride the world cup course.

Sunday

Elite men’s and women’s cross country racing in the second round of the 2011 UCI Mountain Bike Cross-Country World Cup.
