Sir Chris Hoy, fresh from the London 2012 Olympics, opened Cycle Show this week at the NEC.

Paying tribute to the successes of Bradley Wiggins in the Tour de France and his fellow Olympians, Sir Chris spoke about the growth of cycling.

The self confessed bike geek said: "It really is amazing how popular cycling is becoming, people are really getting behind it.

"Hopefully we can build on it."
