Velocomp has announced that it has applied its opposing-force power measurement technology to eBikes, creating what the brand calls an “innovative and low cost VBike torque measurement system,” with performance enhancements supposedly unavailable from any conventional alternative.
Velocomp’s patent-pending VBike technology is based around what it calls “smart responsiveness,” which includes dynamic adjustment of motor output for variations in hill steepness, ground wind, and road roughness, along with efficient use of the e-bikes battery power.
