Firm grows service commitment on its electric range

Ultra Motor offers e-bike training sessions

Electric bike firm Ultra Motor is providing retailers with the chance to take part in a full day of e-bike technical training.

The company has also recently upped the number of days it offers technical support to six days, following the recruitment of Steve Taitt as a full time service manager.

Ultra Motor held the training day at its Technical Centre in Cheltenham, covering the A2B and Urban Mover ranges. On completion of an anonymous questionnaire all dealers said they’d recommend the course and that it gave them more confidence in selling and servicing the e-bikes, according to the firm.

Steve Mills, MD of PowaRider Electric Bikes, said: "We were very keen to attend the first of the dealer training sessions at Ultra Motor / Urban Mover on July 20th at their UK Technical Centre in Cheltenham. Although we are technically familiar with both brands we saw it as an excellent opportunity to enhance our knowledge and at the same time share our own experience. The day did not disappoint and provided a valuable insight into the technicalities of various models as well as product updates and a preview of things to come. By investing in dealer training Ultra Motor have raised the bar for support and capability to improve the dealer experience and build consumer confidence."

Mark Loveridge, Ultra Motor UK MD, added: "We believe that a high level of service and after sales is just as important as high quality products. We have the products right and believe that we offer a level of service above what is expected. We will be running further courses soon and hope to welcome new dealers along."
