Ultra Motor is set to supply e-bike, pedelec and e-Scooter propulsion systems to bike brands, the firm has revealed.
The new offering will be in addition to continuing to develop the A2B range and supply the mass market.
The electric brand will provide propulsion solutions to other vehicle brands, focusing on a small number of customers to adapt the propulsion system to the specific needs of the customer and vehicle.
The first applications of its new propulsion system will be on display at Eurobike next week. The standard propulsion system comes with a brushless and gearless 250 watt rear hub motor that runs at 36 volts and weighs 4.5kg. The controller is mounted inside the motor aluminium case and supports regenerative braking and is CAN bus capable.
The system includes a bottom bracket torque sensor, customisable handlebar display and external wireless harness incorporating power and signal leads.
According to the firm the system is designed to be flexible and fully customisable to the different needs of the customer and vehicle.
Expected to be available in 2011, Eurobike attendees can see the propulsion system in the Zeppelin Hall, stand 200.
