Robert Pattinson, British star of the Twilight film saga and heartthrob to untold numbers of teenaged ladies, is the latest celeb seen backing the cycling cause, as reported by ShowbizGossips.
Pattinson picked up a circa $1,000 2010 Felt Breed Cyclo-X at Capitol Cyclery in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
The shop manager told the site that Pattinson was seeking something simple that “wasn’t a mountain bike”. The actor was spotted trying out tricks on the bike soon after the purchase.
Pattinson has starred in the incredibly popular Twilight series, the latest of which – Eclipse – grossed over $300 million at the US box office alone.
