She qualified for the Ironman Hawaii World Championship last year but couldn’t take up her place thanks to a cash shortage.
Her goals this year inclue competiting in the World Duathlon and European Triathlon Championships in order to qualify for the GBR elite team next year.
Don’t ask her about the current situation vis a vis war in Iraq, she is currently reading for a PhD in International Human Rights Law at the University of Hull.
Anyway, back to triathlon:
"To allow me to participate in more high profile races I am seeking sponsorship. In return you would get your logo on the British Team kit and other race kit. The bigger races are broadcast on TV. I am also prepared to maintain a website, write reports, and give presentations at annual meetings and the like."
Her goals for this year include finishing in the top five at the ITU Long Course World Championship, Ibiza, May 11th.
Why is she seeking sponsorship?
"Travel and accommodation [to major races] is beyond a PhD budget," she said.
