Trek - which broke off sponsorship ties with Lance Armstrong in October last year - has said it won't "re-engage" with him.

Trek responds to Lance’s doping admissions

Trek Bicycle Corp. has issued a statement following the second of the interviews by Oprah Winfrey aired on the OWN network.

"All of us at Trek love the sport of cycling and want athletes to compete without using drugs or doping. We’re hopeful for the future of clean cycling.

"We had no involvement in Lance Armstrong’s decision to talk with Oprah Winfrey – or his admission of doping.

"We watched the interview like others and will monitor the developments of his statements.

"Trek ended our sponsorship agreement with Armstrong last year after the USADA report and have no plans to re-engage with him."
