Brand joins Whyte, Madison, Continental and more for next January's consumer event

Trek joins the London Bike Show

Next year’s London Bike Show will see the likes of Whyte Bikes and Project One by Trek Bikes exhibit.

Taking place at ExCeL, London from Thursday January 12th to 15th, next year’s show follows up on this year’s debut appearance. The London Bike Show runs alongside the Outdoors Show and the Tullett Prebon London Boat Show.

Exhibitors signed up to the show include Madison, Continental Tyres, Evolution Imports, Chicken Cyclekit, Hope Technologies, Endura, Velobrands, Upgrade Bikes and Brompton.

“I’m really pleased that so many top brands have committed to the 2012 show,” commented sales director Frazer Clifford. “The event was fantastic last year and will be even better in 2012. I look forward to working with all 2012 exhibitors over the next few months, helping them to maximise their show presence.”

ATB Sales, exhibiting Whyte Bikes, signed up to the show recently and said: “Whyte bikes are delighted to be attending the London Bike Show and will be at the event with our complete 2012 range. The 2012 range is our largest ever, including the C7 and R7 urban bikes, first seen last year, the all new 146 X trail suspension bike, the Carbon 20c hard tail and three new CycloCross Bikes. We visited the show last year and found both the quantity and quality of visitors to be excellent. The cross over audience between bike, boat and outdoor creates an ideal environment for displaying our UK designed bikes.”

Trek is bringing its bike customisation program Project One to the show.

UK marketing manager for Trek Andrew Griffin said: “Project One, by Trek, is the most comprehensive customisation program available to the discerning cyclist. The London Bike Show offers an ideal opportunity to present this program to those cyclists keen to show their individualism through what they ride and as Project One has over a million combinations, it’s unlikely there will ever be two bikes the same.”
