The round-Britain stage race, most famously known as the Milk Race, will be organised by a company new to UK cycle events.
The last Tour of Britain was organised by Alan Rushton. His Sport for Television Company (now The Events Group) was responsible for bringing the Tour de France to the South East of England in the 90s and also organised the Channel 4 TV city criteriums sponsored by Kelloggs.
