Total Women’s Cycling Awards are back for 2016 at the Cycle Show

The Total Women’s Cycling Awards will be presented at the Cycle Show in Birmingham next month.

The annual awards ceremony first launched in 2014 and aims to recognise brands, individuals and organisations that have shown dedication to Women’s Cycling over the past year.

The winners will be presented at a ceremony at the Cycle Show, on Friday 23 September at 3,15pm. As well time to hand out the awards themselves, there will be a question and answer session with some of the title’s favourite riders – Manon Carpenter, Joanna Rowsell-Shand and Dani King.

Compere on the night will be former international athlete and TV presenter Annie Emmerson. The official event will be invite only, and accompanied by drinks and snacks.

The awards are entirely reader voted. The editorial team and contributors have compiled shortlists for six of the nine categories, but every question includes a suggestions box, and every vote will be counted.

Three further categories – Best Road Cycling Professional, Best Off-Road Professional and Unsung Hero are left entirely open, and again the team will count up the votes.

Voters automatically enter themselves into a draw to win one of four £50 Wiggle vouchers, and some goodies. The voting page is here and there’s more information about the categories and shortlists here.
