Distribution firm takes on Ronnie Remo's frames and components brand

Total BMX now under Split Second umbrella

Split Second Imports has taken on the distribution of British BMX brand Total BMX.

Owned by BMX legend Ronnie Remo, the brand’s product is developed alongside top UK professional BMX riders, such as Mark Webb and Alex Coleborn.

The first batch of Total part will land with the distributor at the start of July, with prices and product information being sent to dealers in the next few weeks. In the meantime, interested retailers can see totalbmx.com for more.

Total BMX is the second brand to be added to Split Second’s range in 2011, following the addition of Snafu parts earlier in the year.

Dan Haynes of Split Second told BikeBiz: "The products, which include the ‘657’ and ‘Voltron’ signature frames, and mega-popular ‘Brit Seat’ (Union Jack design) have already struck a chord with the BMX scene, but have only previously been available in fairly limited numbers. We are looking forward to increasing the visibility of the brand through our dealer network of high street and online retailers, particularly those BMX-specific rider-owned outlets who are familiar with the names involved in this project."
