Cycling Coordinator – Mark Warner

Mark Warner is actively recruiting for cycling coordinators to work in one of its Mediterranean beach resorts. Main responsibilities: promote, coordinate and participate in guided tours for up to 12 guests, implement a cycling programme to accommodate all abilities, deliver the highest level of customer service, monitor and maintain a bike fleet of up to 20 road and/or mountain bikes, and relief duties with other departments including volleyball, football, local walks and evening entertainments. Essential requirements: MIAS, British Cycling or Scottish Cycling Mountain Bike Leadership qualification preferred, previous experience maintaining and managing mountain or road cycling bikes, good standard of fitness, first aid certificate, as well as UK/EU passport holder, UK national insurance number and UK bank account.

Mechanic – The Bike Man

This is a permanent position with a two month probationary period. You would be working part-time, three days a week on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The shop is open five days a week from Tuesday (9am-6pm) to Saturday (10am- 5pm). You will be confident and proficient in bicycle maintenance and ideally have Cytech Level 2 with work experience. You will need to be just as confident in customer interactions, communicating clearly and respectfully. Time and work management is essential to this fast-paced job and it would suit someone who works well under pressure. You will provide accurate quotations for customers and book jobs into the online diary whilst sometimes providing advice via email or over the telephone as well in store. You should be able to work by yourself and as a team to complete the day’s tasks.

Media relations manager – Komoot

You will be successful in this position if you: have two years of experience in the media industry working for a cycling or outdoor brand with solid knowledge of the UK cycling and outdoor media landscape, have a proven track record of executing successful media campaigns with cycling or outdoor media, are a keen cyclist who is already well connected within the cycling community in the UK and considers networking a way of life, speak native-level English and have great copywriting/editing skills, are a self-starter, not afraid to get your hands dirty and you thrive when you have multiple projects to execute, have a positive, enthusiastic and curious personality and are eager to grow with the role, and are digitally-savvy and familiar with various tools and platforms that will support you in your work.

South West territory sales manager – Silverfish

This role is critical to the Silverfish business and will be responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through to close in an assigned territory. Success will be measured based upon the delivery of the Silverfish sales and marketing plan. This role will involve managing customer relationships and ensuring all of our dealers receive the level of customer service synonymous with Silverfish. The role will be responsible for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with Silverfish’s vision and values. The specific duties of this post will include, though not be limited to: establishing, developing and maintaining business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the territory to generate new business, demonstrating technical selling skills and product knowledge that allows the sales representative to give effective presentation of the product range of Silverfish UK, and making telephone calls, in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.

Area account manager – EBCO

This is a field-based roll and you will be responsible for the development and growth of your area account portfolio you will also be required to develop new business. You will be backed up by a focused experienced and professional in-house team. We are a results driven company that is growing rapidly and the roll offers the right candidates an attractive salary, plus commission structure, a fully expensed company vehicle, Laptop and company phone. The successful candidates are expected to live on the area. Required qualifications and skills, proven sales record, a natural ability to identify sales opportunities, strong communication and presentation skills, highly motivated and determined mind set with `can do’ attitude, ability to be well organised with strong time management skills, good computer and administrative skills, proactive, self-motivating with good work ethic, ability to travel throughout the area with overnight stays as required, and an interest in cycling.
