The Outdoors Show aims for 60k visitors in 2004

The second Ordnance Survey Outdoors Show attracted 45 000 visitors, 16 720 of them said to be cyclists of one form or another.

The third running of the show takes place 2nd-4th April 2004, and Brand Events, owner of the show, is hoping for 60 000 visitors. 25 extra space has been booked compared to the 03 show, with the show now taking over halls 9, 10, 11 and 12. Importantly, the show will also spill over on the Pendigo lakeside area, for watersports demos and with a round-the-lake cycle test track.

Stalwarts in the Go Biking area of the show include Sustrans, CTC and Madison.

Caroline Griffiths, marketing manager at Madison, said: "We were all blown away by the type and quantity of visitor [at the 2003 show]."

Brand Events will be boosting the pre-show PR as well as partnering with an as-yet-to-named national newspaper.
