Access by car:
The exhibition grounds can be accessed directly via the motorway feeder service from the Cologne motorway ring, into which 10 European motorways link parking spaces for 14,500 cars are available at the exhibition grounds a shuttle-bus service carries visitors to and from the exhibition halls.
Access by rail:
One of Europe’s busiest rail routes runs directly past Cologne’s exhibition grounds. With 1.300 rail movements daily, Cologne Main Station is also one of Europe’s busiest stations.
KölnMesse ferry:
Direct ferry link across the Rhine between main station/ cathedral and the exhibition grounds.
City rail shuttle:
The "KölnMesse" Express (route 14) tram service runs between the Hauptbahnhof/Dom stop via Neumarkt to the Eastern Halls/Congress Centre East entrance (Halls 13/14)
Free use of local public transport services:
The ifma Cologne 2000 admission ticket entitles exhibitors and visitors to use all local public transport services in and around Cologne (including the Cologne/Bonn airport bus) free of charge. Excluded from this offer are the Deutsche Bahn AG’s rail services for which supplementary charges are payable.
KÖBES:
The electronic KÖlner-BEsucher-Informations-System (Cologne Visitor Information System) provides guests with quick and easy orientation guidance around the exhibition halls, information about exhibitors and, if required, an individually tailored route plan through the halls.
