Tern of Taiwan has introduced the Perch wall mount, a robust system for wall storage of bikes. The mount was designed for Tern bicycles but will work on almost any bicycle.
Manufactured from 5052 aluminum plate with a matte, sandblasted finish, the Perch supports bikes up to 18 kg with handlebars up to 640 mm wide. Rubberized grips hold the seat tube or seatpost while gravity keeps the bike in place. Slots permit attaching a lock or other accessories.
“As cycling takes root in the urban lifestyle, intelligent bike storage solutions are increasingly important,” said Dwight Jurling, Director Global Marketing at Tern.
“The Perch saves space and gets your bike out of the hallway – a big help for people who don’t have garages and live in small apartments.”
The Perch comes with mounting hardware for wood and concrete walls.
