Opportunity to run The Riderz Tour which visits schools in Scotland to encourage pupils to get cycling

Tenders sought for school cycle stunt team tour

Cycling Scotland’s Give Me Cycle Space campaign is designed to help local authorities to encourage more children to cycle to school.

Part of that campaign involves The Riderz Tour, where the team visits schools to present cycling as a cool, fun activity and also runs skills sessions that build upon and supplement cycle training.

Cycling Scotland is now inviting companies to tender for delivery of the Riderz Tour in 2014.

The Riderz team visit one school per day and should comprise a project manager, commentator, four stunt cyclists and any additional team members required to deliver the sessions.

There’s more information on the tender, plus a downloadable tender document, on the Cycling Scotland site.
