The Daily Telegraph - famously lampooned as The Daily Torygraph - is to produce a pre-race supplement on the Tour of Britain. The newspaper's cycling correspondent is Phil Liggett.

The CTC president and OLN/ITV commentator is to provide 1000-words for the introduction to the supplement.

The rest of the publication will feature information on the stages of the Tour, including best vantage points for watching the race.

Other promotions due out before the Tour starts on 1st September include news and competitions in local newspapers in those areas where the Tour transits.
