To celebrate the relocation of Stif Cyles to its new home in Summerbridge, (nr Harrogate) North Yorkshire, the firm is set to hold a grand opening event this coming weekend on Saturday the 6th of February.
Representatives from all the major brands will be on hand to talk through their products and show their brand new 2010 ranges – including Pace, Orange, Santa Cruz, Yeti, Scott, Niner, Mojo, Hope, Fox and SIS.
Over 20 demo bikes will be available, along with guided rides throughout the day.
2009 UCI DH World MTB Champ Steve Peat will also be there throughout the day.
After 25 years of trading in Headingley, Leeds – Stif, originally started as a windsurfing shop, recently moved up to a brand new site in Nidderdale right on some of the best natural riding in the north of England, as well as being only a ten-minute drive from the trails at Stainburn forest.
Stif was the original importer for many of the first high end US custom brands – the likes of Paul Components, Grafton, Camelbak, Nuke Proof (original!) and of course Santa Cruz were all seen first in Stif’s shop.
Carrying on this tradition the new showroom has allowed Stif to expand both its range of bikes and clothing. They now carry an extensive range of Endura and Swobo including the largest Fox clothing display in the UK – as well as bikes from Genesis, NS Bikes and Go Cycle including commuter and electric bikes.
Further schedules for the day including riding times and locations will be put up on the Stif web site over the next week.
