Davey has been Raleigh sales and marketing director for two years. His responsibilities are transferring to Mike Reynolds, who is to become product and sales director.

Steve Davey to leave Raleigh

Davey leaves at the end of December.

"Much of what I set out to do when I joined has now been achieved, particularly around the re-positioning of the Raleigh and Diamondback brands and generating considerable sales growth,” said Davey.

“With the impending move of the business to Eastwood the timing [for a move] is about right and it will give impetus to John Spon-Smith’s programme of streamlining the business."

Carl Wright, currently UK sales manager, is appointed head of sales, reporting to Mike Reynolds.

“Mike and Carl have a wealth of experience and will, I am sure, maintain the positive Raleigh momentum that we have built in 2002,” said Raleigh MD, John Spon Smith.
