Dealers get hands-on experience with the latest tech from the brand

SRAM Tech Centre UK runs first Avid seminars

The newly installed SRAM Tech Centre ran its first Avid Dealer Seminar this week.

Mechanics from dealers across the UK attended the day, gaining hands on experience and citing the day as very useful. Mechanics got to see first hand the redesigned MY12 Avid brakes that are now easier to bleed. The new MY12 Elixir range features a new master cylinder designed to control any air present in the system to make braking more consistent and bleeding less frequent.

The Centre opened at the end of last year as a trade resource for warranty and servicing across SRAM, Rockshox, Avid, Truvativ and Zipp.

Another part of its remit is to provide dealers with training and support through seminars, more of which are planned for this year.

More details on those can be gleaned from Fisher Account Managers.
