The Spin Up in a Brewery event, debuted last year jointly by Kinesis and Morvelo, returns on May 25th.
Loosely described by Dom of Kinesis as “a kind of carnage where racing, beer, fierce competition and fun comes together” Spin Up is set to be bigger with prizes worth over £2,000, a feast cooked up by the three time ‘UK BBQ champion’, Bike Drums, roller racing for kids and an expo area full of bargains.
Given last year’s fast sell out, capacity has been expanded this year. The event starts at 1pm but there is a road and off-road ride out across the South Downs to the Dark Star brewery, starting on Brighton seafront at 11am. It all wraps up at 8pm with optional coach ride home or, as it’ll no doubt be clear and dry… a lovely ride back along the tops of the Downs.
