Singular Cycles has launched new bike lines, including the Pegasus and ‘category defying’ Gryphon.
The Pegasus is a 29" wheeled MTB that uses the geometry of the steel Swift and renders it in titanium.
Italian titanium frame-builder Nevi has helped in the manufacture of the cycle, which is available to be pre-ordered from a limited number of frames. Some customisation options are available on the final frame specifications, while the cycle retails at £1,500 for the frame, with a £500 deposit required and delivery set for February.
Singular describes the Gryphon as a bike "defying categorisation, some call it monster ‘cross, others may just say it’s a drop bar mountain bike. Whatever you decide to call it, it’s going to be fun."
The Gryphon also uses 29" wheels and is based on the basic design and construction of the Swift, optimised for use with off-road drop handlebars. It can be used singlespeed and is available at £420 for frame and fork through Singular dealers of through the company website.
