After this site carried a news story on Singletrack's lack-of-sponsors plight, the indie magazine was contacted by a number of American bike product brands, some UK distributors and a UK IBD. The art expo at Towneley hall near Burnley will now be beefed up thanks to financial support from Basta, Xero, Silverfish and Sideways Cycles.

Singletrack’s MTB art exhibition attracts sponsors

Basta’s contribution will fund a five-day workshop from ovine-artist Jo Burt.

The cash from the other associate sponsors will all be pumped into making the expo look even more plush than it already does. (A pic of the expo will be posted here tomorrow).

Mark Alker, Singletrack’s online editor, said the magazine was still seeking a sponsor for the Singletrack magazine awards, to be staged 26th October.
