Sigma Sport of London and Specialized have today announced a partnership that sees the formation of Team Sigma Sport – Specialized.
London’s road and triathlon specialist retailer has long had a strong UK squad, having scored numerous successes at the highest level. The team contains National Champions, Olympians and Grand Tour Riders, as well as younger riders eager to learn and bursting with potential.
For 2010 the team has taken another step forward, being registered with the UCI with Elite ‘Continental’ status and aims to ride numerous UCI events abroad.
The team will be seen aboard Specialized SL3 frames, equip with Mavic wheels, Shimano Dura Ace groupsets and 3T componentry. Several other sponsors are on board too, including Italian clothing brand Giordana, Accelerade nutrition and Enzo Motors, who will supply the team’s Mercedes Dualiner van.
