The expanding British apparel firm Shutt.vr has taken on two new hires.
Aspiring sportswear under-graduate Lucy Gardner has joined to develop new lines of performance cycle wear and cycle-based leisure wear. Hailing from the west of England, Gardner is bringing with her youthful, environmentally aware and high performance designs. She holds a degree in Performance Sportswear Design from University College Falmouth.
Secondly Matthew Beedham, a recent graduate of Newcastle University Business School, has joined bringing his expertise in digital marketing. Previously, Beedham enjoyed a stint with the digital distribution team of Warner Bros, where he learnt a broad range of skills and ideas from a number of industries which will be applied to help take Shutt to the next stage of its growth.
The three year old brand said it has been riding the crest of an industry boom. Since its start in offices in Ilkley it has relocated closer to its Leicestershire production base, with offices now in Oxfordshire. It added that it will shortly be revealing its new AW12 and SS13 product lines.
