Eduardo Roldan has been installed as managing director of Shimano’s newly formed Italy division – officially titled Shimano Italy Bicycle Components.
The new sales office opens for business on July 1st and was announced to the trade last month.
Shimano Europe president Marc Van Rooij said: “We are very pleased to announce the appointment of the person that will lead our Sales Office in Italy. Eduardo has 17 years of experience in a position of Marketing Director at our distributor in Spain and has achieved a great success in the Spanish market.”
Roldan added: “I am excited and grateful to Shimano for this opportunity. I firmly believe that my experience and long lasting expertise in handling successfully both, OEM business and IBD market, puts me in an excellent position to create a team that meets the expectations of the Italian cycling market.”
