Location also changing, though remains within San Diego

San Diego Custom Show becomes International Bicycle Framebuilder Exposition

The San Diego Custom Bicycle Show has rebranded as the International Bicycle Framebuilder Exposition.

The alteration reflects the show’s growth, with organisers now considering the show to attract a greater audience than from just within the San Diego region.

"The founders of the IBFE have really put their torches in the right place," said Steve Boehmke, the show’s new PR agent.

"We have an awesome new location in Old San Diego, are keeping prices low for the artisans known as framebuilders, and are really creating a must-see show for all bike enthusiasts. We’ll have other events surrounding the expo, like a live Paris-Roubaix party in the morning, and many as-yet-to-be-announced activities. I guarantee it will be the best global framebuilder show of 2011 and beyond."

For 2011, the IBFE will take place at the city’s Golden Hall at the San Diego Concourse. The show will take place on April 8th to 10th.
