British Sea Power's latest single is accompanied by a video of a woman on a road bike. Could their own range be in the offing?

Rock band to release signature line of bikes & woolly jumpers?

Rock band British Sea Power recently released a single – ‘Machineries Of Joy’ – and promoted it with a video featuring a woman triathlete in a woolly jumper and jeans riding a 1970s road bike up some hills.

Cue much praise on forums. This has given the band the idea of releasing their own range of bikes, claims thequietus.com, "with talks apparently in progress with some leading manufacturers."

Yeh, right.

"A BSP bike is the way forwards – or backwards if you have that particular cycling skill," British Sea Power’s Jan Scott Wilkinson is reported to have said.

Is it April 1st yet? Still, good excuse to wheel out the video. It’s great, especially if you like nice lugs.
