Ribble Cycles has created a German-language web-shop. The company – founded in 1897 – has been selling into Germany from their co.uk site for some time; this move is to help the German user experience, and follows a localised shop for the Australian market, too.
Ribble 30-day test ride program will also be available to German customers.
Ribble Cycles CE Jon Owen said: “Launching Ribble.de is going to make a huge difference to the shopping experience for our German customers.
“With our online BikeBuilder we are truly bringing something brand new to the German customer. BikeBuilder delivers a level of customisation that no other online bike manufacturer can match. As cyclists ourselves, we know it’s important to have the right bike; often it’s those finer details and personal preferences that matter the most.”
2017 is Ribble’s 120th year in business. And it’s the 200th anniversary of the introduction of the first bicycle in Germany, and the world.
