Ribble Cycles Appoints Fusion Media as its PR Agency

Lancashire-based Ribble Cycles has appointed Fusion Media as its PR Agency.

London-based Fusion Media are specialists in the cycling and endurance sport markets. The agency will manage all of the company’s UK PR requirements focusing on building the awareness of the Ribble Cycles brand of bikes amongst target customers through specialist and national press coverage.

Founded in 1897, with over 100 years of heritage, Ribble is well established in delivering market-leading customised bikes with exceptional value. A newly relaunched web platform allows customers to build any Ribble bike to their exact requirements using the online Ribble Bike Builder. All bikes are built to customer’s bespoke requirements at Ribble HQ in Lancashire before being shipped to customers worldwide.

In November 2015, True Capital, the retail and consumer sector specialist investor, announced the acquisition of Cyclesport North Ltd, the company behind Ribble Cycles.

The Ribble Cycles website serves over 75,000 customers a year, offers a range of more than 13,000 SKUs.

Adam Tranter, Founder and Director of Fusion Media, said: “Ribble Cycles is a company with deep roots in the British cycling sector and with well over 100 years of heritage. We see huge potential in the brand as cycling continues to grow and we can’t wait to help them accelerate their growth amongst key target markets.”

Matthew Lawson, Chief Digital Officer of Ribble Cycles said: “We’re delighted to be working with Fusion Media because of their extensive industry expertise and their ability to reach both our core audience and the wider national audience of cyclists. We have big plans for Ribble and we’re happy to be working in partnership with Fusion going forwards.”
