Road.cc survey finds three in four bikers are irritated by fellow cyclists that ignore road laws

Red light-running cyclists blasted…by cyclists

Law breaking bikers were found to top the list of irritations for cyclists in a Road.cc reader poll.

457 cyclists took part in the survey, with 195 voters irritated by those that rode with no lights, brakes or rode on the pavement.

143 said that cyclists that ran red lights annoyed them most.

Some of the participating cyclists cited concerns that the minority of law-breaking riders, in particular ‘red-light runners’ were damaging the perception of cyclists in general.

One in eight (59 voters), however, declined to point the finger at fellow cyclists for irritating behaviour, with one participant advising it was more prudent to avoid getting upset by other cyclists transgressions.
