Rates rip-off: the answer

Become a member of the Forum of Private Business (from £50 to £500 depending on size of organisation) and take advantage of their ‘no win, no fee’ rates evaluation service.

This is carried out by chartered surveyors, Montagu Evans, and will only be carried further if there is a genuine reduction on the cards. Montagu Evans take 50 percent of the first year’s savings but there is no up-front fee involved.
