228-page photography special 'bookazine' heads to retail

Procycling publishes the pick of the pics

Procycling Photography 2010, compiling the cream of the cycle photos from the year, is set to go on sale.

Using images from award-winning photographer Tim de Waele, the 228-page special covers the high-speed piles ups, frenzied bunch sprints and stunning scenery.

The subjects of the ‘bookazine’ – priced at £7.99 – include Lance Armstrong’s final Tour de France, plus the likes of Mark Cavendish, Andy Schleck and Alberto Contador.

“This bookazine celebrates everything that makes cycling great,” said Procycling editor Cam Winstanley.

“The breadth of experiences that make up a season in the pro peleton – from the rain-soaked tests of gritty determination to the sun-baked glory of a Tour de France stage win – are reproduced here through Tim De Waele’s astonishing photography, letting you get closer to the sport than ever before.”
