As of July 1st, Christoph Schwarz has taken the reigns as Powerbar’s new Regional Performance Nutrition Business Head of Europe, replacing the outgoing Tim Moody.
Having been with the nutrition firm since 2000, Schwarz has played a big role in the brand’s growth strategy, delivering strong performance in his prior German and Austrian territories.
“I look forward to the new responsibilities and am confident that, for the entire team, the positive trend of recent years will continue seamlessly,” said Schwarz. “We in Europe have undergone a remarkable development.
“Now we want to open the sports nutrition market to new target groups and build upon our leadership position across the entire European region as an innovation and know-how company. This will help us to further consolidate and expand.”
