Shoreditch-set outlet will be followed by more openings in 2013, retailer says

PIC SPECIAL: Bike Republic opens in London’s ‘pop-up mall’ Boxpark

Bike Republic has opened its third new outlet in London in 12 months at Boxpark shopping mall in Shoreditch.

Based in what is pitched as the world’s first ‘pop-up mall’ – Boxpark Shoreditch – this latest third store follows Bike Republic’s pop-up store in Selfridge and the acquisition and opening of the Velorution brand store at 88 Great Portand Street.

Further outlets are planned for 2013, the retailer said.

“We are really excited to bring Bike Republic’s unique product lines and retail experience to this exciting part of town,” said managing director Jonathan Cole.

“We have a great selection of our best-selling bikes from award-winning brands including, Pinarello, Schindelhauer, Moulton, Van Nicholas, Rizoma, Strida, Pashley, Velorbis, and Worx. Our focus is on the urban commuter with new water resistant clothing lines from Union 34 and the award-winning Kranium Electric Bikes.”
