Power meter brand Powertap is offering bike shops a new tool – the Power Ambassador Programme.
Set up by Ben Simmons of Powertap distributor Paligap, the programme has been designed to help new cyclists gain an understanding of training with power and the experienced athlete to analyse and improve their performance.
Paligap explained: "In conjunction with some of the most experienced coaches across the UK the Power Ambassador Program will bring years of experience in training with power to the some of the best independent bicycle shops in the UK.
"Power Ambassador’s goal is to highlight that training with Power is not a mystical art but a method of training that any weekend warrior will benefit from."
Any Powertap stockist can host a Power Ambassador Seminar and invite their customers and club riders to benefit from the knowledge of their coaches. The first seminars are to take place next week.
