In Prime Minister's Question Time on 31st March, Eric Martlew MP asked Tony Blair whether the government would support his 'protective headgear for young cyclists' private members' bill. The Prime Minister stopped short of offering full support but did say "we will certainly give careful consideration to this Bill, and if we can support it, I am sure that we will."
