With launch of the Invictus frameset, firm invites retailers to enquire about becoming a stockist

Obsydian Bikes seeks independent retail stockists

Obsydian Bikes has this week announced the launch of its first frameset – dubbed the Invictus – and is now calling on retailers to get in touch if they’d like to stock the label’s goods.

Designed to cope with higher rider weight limits, the £600 Invictus package consists of an aluminium frame built with triple butted tubing and supplied with a carbon monocoque fork. The frame, which has already earned a 4/5 star rating on Road.cc, carries a lifetime warranty too.

Sam Davies, the company CEO, told BikeBiz: "We can offer a 35 per cent margin to retailers, as well as continuing to offer the lifetime warranty and (subject to discussion) the crash replacement policy to all partners."

Should any frame be inadvertently introduced to the tarmac and damaged beyond repair then Obsydian will replace the frame at 40 per cent off RRP, according to Davies.
