The long-time partnership between Northwave and the 2016 Europe Tour number one team continues for 2017.
After a 2016 season in which the team achieved 12 wins, Northwave has announced that it will continue to equip Wanty-Groupe Gobert with a range of products including new Extreme RR shoes, Extreme Light Pro socks and Podium two leisure shoes.
Wanty-Gobert will make its first appearance at Le Grand Boucle with Extreme RR. Roman Kreuziger joins the Northwave family, which also includes Meintjes, Ganna and UAE Abu Dhabi team prospects.
The Belgian squad – which won the 2016 Europe Tour classification – was awarded a grand tour wild card for the first time in its four-year history.
It has also been announced that French youngster Guillaume Martin, Belgian Kenny De Haes and Italians Andrea Pasqualon and Danilo Napolitano are the top names of the Wanty roster for the 2017 season.
