Nominations open for the Cycle Crime Awards 2018

For the third year running, BikeRegister’s Cycle Crime Awards are set to take place at the company’s annual cycle crime conference in late June.

The awards will “celebrate and recognise the outstanding achievements of those out in the field tackling cycle crime.”

BikeRegister currently works with police forces, local authorities, cycle retailers and industry partners to carry out cycle marking events across the country. Over 750,000 bikes are now registered on BikeRegister.

James Brown, BikeRegister MD, said: “BikeRegister is now an essential part of the toolkit being used to fight bike crime and we want to pay tribute to the great work being done by so many to tackle the issue. We also want to share some of the amazing stolen bike recovery stories we have had this year.”

Readers can nominate anyone who has helped tackle cycle crime this year including a colleague, a police officer or a cycle retailer. Entries will close on 14th June.
