Nike to produce Tour of Britain jerseys

Tony Doyle signed off the jersey designs yesterday. Doyle is the freelance sports marketing officer in Nike’s cycling division, liaising between Nike and pro riders.

The jersey colours? Yellow for the GC winner, green for the points winner, polka-dot for the best climber and blue for the winner of the sprints competition.

It’s not yet known whether the jerseys will be made commercially available, but if they are, they will be available via Trek. Watch this space.
